“With my work I’m looking to convey a sense of perpetual loneliness and the fragility of human existence. By depicting individuals in isolated environments or intimate, introspective poses. My work conveys a deep sense of personal solitude, where subjects appear disconnected from their surroundings, prompting the viewer to reflect on the emotional layers behind their isolation. I’m a collector of things in different forms. Objects, moments, sentiments. The general task of my practice is to capture them in a way that portrays the fragility and vulnerability that ties my work together.
My self portraits serve mostly as an exploration of my own body, portraying a raw, unfiltered perspective. Whether it is through close-up shots or unconventional framing, I seek to explore the contours and expressions of the human form, capturing moments of movement, tension, and tenderness.”
