Jesper Trip is a Dutch self-taught lens-based artist based in Amsterdam.
In his practice he uses the body as a means to investigate themes of vulnerability, shame, guilt and the complexities of self-image. Through photography, he explores the space between appearance and identity, questioning the ways in which the body becomes a place where personal histories, desires and societal expectations collide.
